Essay --

From my professional fellowship I have worked with different managers and supervisors. Most of who argon academically levelheaded and well experienced in the medical field. It is important for me to be fitting to differentiate between managing and leading, because these are two distinct ways of organizing people. leading is basically setting a new vision/ direction for the composition or group that they follow. On the other hand, management controls and direct people, resources in the organization according to the values, ethics and principles that has been established by that organization. From our previous readings I concluded that people make choices to naturally and willingly follow a leader for various reasons e.g. their charisma, personality and management style, whereas a manager gives directives and are obeyed due to the authority and power given to them. For these reasons, people more lots become loyal towards leaders than managers.The leader I have chosen to talk ab out is the Director of Pediatric Department and I would affect her to be an effective leader and a manger.
